Archery

Thursdays 1 – 3 PM
12th Precinct Rifle and Archery Club

411 Harwood Road, Harwood, MD

BARS has taken over the archery program formerly run by our friends at MedStar NRH.  Since the weather is turning colder, we will be shooting indoors until spring at the address above.

This program is for the “never ever” archer, as well as the experienced archer wanting to improve/practice their skills for either target shooting and/or hunting.
All equipment is provided - bows, arrows, releases, arm guards, etc.  We have a variety of compound bows available for use to accommodate archers of varying abilities and physical strength. If you have your own bow, you are welcome to bring it!
Instruction is provided by coaches, Larry Hix and Gail Peterson with assistance from USA Archery Team Member Eric Burkett and several other dedicated volunteers.  Coaches will rotate through providing each attendee with individual instruction
Cost:  $10 per session/week or    $45 for 5 sessions/weeks
Payment and registration must be made in advance. To pay for your session(s) visit BARS website at https://barsinfo.org/store/p14/Archery  This will take you to the “BARS store” and there you can pay for the number of sessions you want.  Sessions do not have to be used consecutively, however a 5 pack must be used within 6 months.
To Register or with questions: Contact Pamela at
We ask that you register in advance so the coaches can plan accordingly
