BARS offers many opportunities... We hope you try them all!!!

Some Important BARS Policies are Below:

1. All programs require pre-registration.  Contact the program organizer to secure your spot.
2. BARS cannot assist with activities of daily living.  If you need help with your personal care, bring a caregiver with you.
3. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver and photo release every year. 
   
4. BARS takes photos for use on our website and Facebook page.  If you have concerns about the use of your photo, talk to a program organizer.  We are careful in choosing the images we share.  
5. BARS requires pre-payment for our programs.  Refunds are not given for last minute cancellations.  When you register for a program, BARS makes a commitment to provide equipment and volunteers.  For advance cancellations, a partial refund may be given at the discretion of program organizers and the BARS Board.  If you would like to participate in a program but cost is a barrier, scholarships are available.  Contact a program organizer. 
   
6. BARS shares information about BARS programs via our e-mail list.  BARS occasionally shares information about other community events from other organizations.  BARS keeps our e-mail list confidential and we will never share your contact information without your permission.
7. Please note that BARS is unable to provide transportation to any of our programs.
8. BARS programs are all volunteer run.  We rotate programs on a rolling based on volunteer availability and participant interest.  If you don't see something on the schedule and would like to help us coordinate a new program contact us.
